is greater than the pain of changing"
Frequently Asked Questions
What is therapy?
Therapy is a safe and confidential place for you to explore the areas of your life you are having difficulty with, either past or present. We can work together to help to resolve painful and uncomfortable issues.
How long is a session?
Each session lasts 50 minutes and takes place at the same time and day each week as agreed by us. However, I am able to be flexible regarding session times and dates.
How much will it cost?
My fees for individuals are £70 (although I do offer some concessions based on a sliding scale income on a limited basis). Fee for couples are £90.
How long will it take?
This will depend on the individual and what the presenting issues are. Some clients benefit from short term work while others may require a longer intervention.
What if I can’t make or miss a session?
Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will be charged at full fee.
How confidential is it?
All sessions are private and confidential. I maintain confidentiality in line with the ethical guidelines of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) of which I am a member. Click on the link below for more information.

What if I don’t wish to come anymore?
You can choose to finish therapy at any point, however it is advisable to do this with notice so that both parties can prepare for the ending and make sure all loose ends are tied up and the ending is managed effectively.
